hey there!

I’m Lallenia

I didn’t plan on running a business with my husband.
I married a plumber. Then one day he sold his Harley to buy a drain machine, and suddenly we were in business. No roadmap. No investors. Just long days, late nights, and a whole lot of learning the hard way.
We built a multi-million-dollar plumbing company while raising kids, paying bills, arguing about money, figuring out roles, and trying not to let the business swallow our marriage whole. Some seasons I knew exactly how to help. Other seasons I felt invisible, exhausted, and unsure where I even fit.
What I learned took years. How to support the business without losing myself. How to help my husband grow without resenting him. How to protect our family while still building something real.
Yes, our work has been featured in INC.com and other business publications. But the real education came from living it day after day at the kitchen table, in the truck, on the phone, and in prayer.
Now I help women who run businesses with their spouses figure out their place without burning out, blowing up their marriage, or feeling like they have to become someone they’re not.
If you love your husband, believe in his work, and still want to matter in your own right, you’re in the right place.

Why I Created A Plumbers Wife

Running a business with your spouse is no small feat

Birge-family-portrait A Plumbers Wife

I built A Plumber’s Wife because I spent years figuring this out the hard way. Working alongside my husband. Raising kids. Trying to help the business grow without letting it take over our marriage, our home, or my own sense of purpose.

This is a place for wives who are part of the business, whether that means marketing, money, scheduling, decision making, or being the steady support behind the scenes, and who want to do it well without burning out or losing themselves.

Here’s what I help you do:

• Get clear on your role so you’re not just “helping” but actually contributing in a way that matters
• Build simple systems for marketing, communication, and day to day business support
• Support your husband and the business without resentment or exhaustion
• Protect your marriage and family while still growing something successful

Inside A Plumber’s Wife you’ll find real stories from the trenches, practical guidance you can actually use, and encouragement for the seasons that feel heavy and unseen.
